We are family doctors providing full service care to registered patients. Conveniently located at the corner of Ryan and Lerwick, across from the Comox Valley Hospital, our brand-new location is accessible and welcoming.
Our goal is to ensure quality health care for every patient. We offer same-day appointments, so that you can be seen the day you need us. You can also pre-book for a future appointment time that works best for you. We care for our patients in hospital, and offer house calls when needed.
Two of our physicians are pleased to offer care in both English and French.
Dr Sara Sandwith, MD, CCFP, FCFP
Dr Sandwith has been in practice in the Comox Valley since 2012. She began working with Dr Itta Winter at Cottage Medical Clinic in 2014. Dr Sandwith has a special interest in maternity care. She delivers babies as part of the Highland Maternity Group. Bilingual care available.

Dr Suzanne Watters, MD, CCFP
Dr Watters has worked as a family doctor in the Comox Valley since 2009, providing office and hospital services, maternity and neonatal care. She led an innovative project in Comox to establish immediate skin-to-skin for mothers and babies after caesarean birth. Dr Watters has a special interest in maternity care and delivers babies as part of the Highland Maternity Group. Bilingual care available.

Dr Kate Morgan, MD, CCFP
Dr Morgan worked in Ontario before moving to the Comox Valley, bringing over a decade of experience in full-service family medicine. She joined Wavecrest, taking over from Dr Itta Winter, in 2024. She delivers babies as part of the the Cedar House Birth Collective.

Dr Scott Manktelow, MSc, MD, CCFP
Dr Manktelow completed his training in family medicine in the Comox Valley in 2018 after previously living in Canmore, AB. Dr Manktelow provides care to all ages and has a special interest in lifestyle-based medicine. He provides a full service family practice, including inpatient care at the Comox Valley Hospital and home visits.
