Covid-19 update

Routine appointments and rapid access appointments can now be booked online! Please call to schedule longer appointments (ie procedures, physicals).

If you are wondering if you are infected, please go to the BC COVID 19 Self-Assessment Tool.  Please phone 811 if you are wondering if you or your child should be tested. Wondering how to deal with Covid 19 symptoms at home or at school? Please see this helpful guideline, or the Doctors of BC website for what to if your child is ill.

For information on COVID 19 vaccines, availability and distribution plan, please go to the BC Centre for Disease Control. There is also lots of other, up to date information about COVID 19 on the site.

Do you have a health issue that might qualify you to get an earlier scheduled vaccine? BC has recently released vaccine guidelines for the clinically extremely vulnerable. The criteria are very specific: if you qualify, you should receive an invitation letter. If you haven’t received it by Apr 15, use the Vaccination Registration system to discuss with an agent. If you are still not on the list and feel you should be, contact your physician at this time to see if you qualify and require an attestation.

Those with ANY POTENTIAL COVID SYMPTOMS (including cough, fever, or shortness of breath) are requested to advise our staff when booking your appointment. We will be contacting you through phone or telehealth for most appointments, but in-person appointments will be booked when required. Please stay in your vehicle until appointment time to reduce the risk of exposure in the waiting room. Island Health policy requires you to wear a medical mask for your appointment - one can be provided for you if you do not have one.
